I just got a 25 in 45colt & 45acp. The Acp ammo was cast 230gr
cast WCs, the 45Colt was 242gr WCs. Both loaded at approx 800
fps. The 25 in 45acp out shot the Colt by a wide margin. These
guns have 6-6.5" barrels. The same load in 45Colt shoots with
bullseye accuracy in my 25-5, 83/8" gun. I came home cleaned
guns and checked chamber throats and don't see any issues. I
read a lot on the problems with chamber throats on 25s in 45C.
What are other things to look for? Gun actually shot better with
Win factory Jacketed ammo.
