Those are beautiful! I'm a big fan (and a pretty good customer New Culina's on 686-3) of their grips.

Thanks, ordered these back in December off a photo of a block of wood. They did not know what they were going to look like as it was their 1st go around with dyed burls. The block showed more blue but I think they turned out beautiful. The blue is a grayish blue and very subtle. I thought about not taking them when I first saw the completed picture as the original picture shows them a bit brown looking. What a mistake that would have been.

Those turned out really nice. The finish on them is like glass. I agree the original pic looks too brown. The blue makes them pop ! I gotta look into these.

Those are awesome looking grips as John is a artist and his grips are always great looking. I have a set of his maple grips on my 28-2 with 4 inch barrel and I love them.

I see a big improvement on these grips that fix a problem I have with finger groove Hogue grips. There's more finger room behind the trigger guard for the second finger. This keeps the gun lower in the hand. Visually it's sounds trivial, but you can sure feel it in the hand. Did you send in an outline of your hand or did you just luck out with finger grooves that fit you?

No outline, but I had bought a pair of Birdseye Maple for my 29-2 last year from them and Jennifer said they would fit similar. Boy was she right, I have average size hands & these fit like a glove. So I guess I lucked out!
