Default Model 10-8 HB

Just bought an 10-8 HB round butt with magna grips. A couple small bumps on the grips and some blueing wear at the muzzle from a holster. Overall pretty darn nice shape. Paid $264 OTD. How did I do? Ken

If mechanically sound, you did well in my opinion. I had a 10-8 Australian V.P.A. Police gun. Mine was a square butt. I paid $269 a few years back. All included, w/FFL, around $300. It was sure not much for PRETTY! Sure shot, and functioned well! Per your description, I would have done it myself. Bob

We want pictures, we want pictures, we want pictures.
Sounds like you got a heck of a deal. Don't see the round butt very much.

I think that is a good deal. I paid $375 for my heavy barrel, square butt, model 10-8 last year. My LGS had one a few months back but it was a 10-6 HB and they wanted $350 and someone paid it.
I would have bought it too at that price.

Considering the price of a new model 10 and sound mechanicals of your model 10, you did fine. Besides, it can be argued that the older 10s are better than the current production 10s. You made a good deal and you have an excellent shooter that will probably outlast you with proper care.

Maybe a 3"? Pics would be good. Sounds like a good deal to me.

You did fine. You will find the 10-8 to be a very good shooter.

You did well and they are great shooters. Would like to find a dozen at that price.
