Default Landed a second 3" 657

My 3" 657 with the serial beginning ANN (bottom) got lonely, so grabbed an older sibling, serial ANE (top). The new addition looks to have been unfired outside of the factory.

I will take the combats off and store them and add more Ahrends boot grips...they feel great and are controllable. The bottom 657 has them in Cordia wood.

I do like your .41s and your earlier one with the Ahrends really looks neat. What's it like to shoot?

With full power .41 magnum ammo, kind of a beast. But I put together a load with 250 grain LSWC bullets at somewhere around 850 fps that are nice. Now if I an find my load data...my stuff is all boxed up from a recent move.

Nice! One 657 for each hand now.

I was shooting mine yesterday with some full power 240 grain WNGC solids over 19.0 grains of WW296....they will get your attention

You are in a very small demographic segment.

Two 3" 657 families.

Groo here
One reason I like the 3in 41mag is that I can shoot
factory loads at combat speeds.
Just can't do that with a 44mag, even ported.

I just sold my last of 2, 3” 657s. Just couldn’t warm up to the .41 when I have 2, 3” 629-1s.
