What grips for the little lady?
Bought a Model 60 round butt for the wife long ago and she has never liked it. Even with light loads. In her defense, she is little! 5 foot, 100 lbs. shoots a Ruger Lcp and MK 2 easily but I would like for her to use the 38 for, just in case. Any grips out there which would help. We have tried Hogue rubber and a couple different style wooden grips without satisfaction. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

S&W had a pair of stocks specially designed to fit a Lady's hand in
1989 for its new 3" Lady Smith Chiefs Specials (Models 36-3 & 60-3).
I've handed them to many gals at shows across the Cowboy State.
They say, "They're the best, ever."
A bit uncommon in the marketplace, but seen occasionally on ebay.

Rogers Guns Grips has a set on ebay now, listed as buy-it-now, not an auction. They are listed as "SMITH & WESSON J FRAME ROUND BUTT COMBAT GRIPS", but not in my budget. Maybe one of the smaller J-Frame Target grips might work? The kind that fit both round and square butt frames.
On the right in the first pic, and smooth version lower right in the second pic.

Try to get a round butt K frame for her to shoot. Only reason to go with a J frame is if you really need a gun that small to hide. Almost everyone shoots a K Frame better than a J. The smaller the gun the harder it is to shoot. If she must have a J frame for trigger reach reasons, get her a three inch.

I suggest the Uncle Mike’s rubber J frame round butt finger groove stocks. Longer than the boot grip, padded back strap, comfortable to use.

Pachmayr Diamond Pro Grip is the best I have found for the 60. Unfortunately they don't make them for all flavors of revolvers.

I like the old herrett shooting aces locolobo56.They are relatively small , offer a nice point of aim and are pretty easy to hold on tight with. There are still some out there that you can find here in the forums for sale section.

The ones that the "little lady " picks herself - anything else is folly at best.

Nothing wrong with the LCP if she shoots it well
J frames are notoriously hard to shoot well, and most don’t care for the recoil. At least it is all steel.
As mentioned unless deep concealment is a priority ( which in my mind fevers back to the LCP) a K frame makes for a much better shooting experience
While I don agree with it for several reasons, many women purse carry, and if done properly ( more often than not it isn’t unfortunately) a full size gun is just fine fo4 that purpose and much easier to shoot and manipulate

JMHO, but men do not know what women want in firearms.
My dad was a WWII Veteran and the only handgun in his house was a 1911A1. After he died my mom asked me for a Colt snubnose revolver in trade for his 1911A1 that she never liked. Her father had a Colt revolver and she always liked it.
My wife is just the opposite. Her dad was a WWII Veteran and a big fan of the 1911A1. My wife knows the 45 Automatic and looks down on revolvers. So she has a Colt 45 in her nightstand.

Retired cop opinion. I chat with retired Policewomen and you know what they carry? Beretta 25 ACP and 32 ACP pistols are very popular and is a realistic EDC for a woman.

I believe trying to force her into something you "think" she should carry is barking up the wrong tree. Neither of you is going to wind up happy. Let her pick what she wants and then facilitate and encourage her to shoot/practice as much as she wants.
