spotted 29-2 4" today looking for value
A friend just got in a 29-2 4" at his shop. It is a consignment gun. it has pac's on it unfortunately and had the cylinder latch missing but he replaced that already. The lady wants $750 for it. No box or docs. Pretty fair shape with some carry and use wear. It is an N prefix. He has it marked at $918 but said that I could contact the lady directly and see what I could get it for but he wants his consignment cut of course.

Assuming the cylinder release is correct, I'd jump for it in a minute for 750 here in CA.
