Just a point of parliamentary procedure, but like the Germans didn't bomb Pearl Harbor, Hiroshima ain't in Japan.

My dad swore by Tyler T-Grips. Pretty sure the first thing he did when he got a new S&W pistol was order or buy a couple. Back then, if you couldn't find 'em at the LGS, it was order form and USPS each way. Took months back then as well. We sold a couple dozen when clearing out the estate. They just don't fit my hand well, but I see where they fill a niche.

Many of us have been fleeced by the Tyler company over the past few years. We serve as a warning to others to never do business with them.

They're business practices are out-and-out fraud. When they say on their website that you'll get the product in three weeks, and it turns out that if you get it at all, it will be over one year, that's fraud.

Only by the altruism of the people on this board (and other S&W boards) by not reporting them have they not been shut down yet by the state. I got my money back, which is why I didn't report them.

Geography nor Nationality had and has little to do with what China does past/present and as such like states will continue to do; nor how they source such resources is all I was saying. But in jest, I generally agree with you.

I wish Tyler-T's, their company had a better reputation but they don't. Being such, their products are good "If/When" you can and do get them. Therefore, I source them from other sources when they are needed and never had a direct problem with them. To those that do, it sucks, no excuse for that kinda BS. I go out of my way to make sure I do what I say and I sleep well at night. "Companies" that don't shame on them.

I am a faithful buyer of Tyler T-Grips and in fact just received 3 in the mail yesterday for J Frames. I have several other grips from Culina to Spegels that I love but when it comes to old school cool nothing tops the magna and Tyler combo.

Since I have been ordering Tyler's there have been comments about the length of the wait. If you have ordered and not done your research then I have a hard time feeling sorry for you. I have ordered 5 or 6 times and I send in my check or money order and I just sit back and wait.

In my opinion it is well worth the wait!

Listen, this might be a PIA but this guy has really gone out of his way to call me and text me in order to make this right. I'm not going to complain about that.
Please forgive my cynicism, but what you're calling "out of his way" is what most small businesses call "normal routine."
I'm not one to bash businesses because there are so many variables that we don't see as consumers. I get it. But a few seconds to shoot off an email or a text is nothing in comparison to the tons of goodwill it adds to a company's reputation. The folks behind Tyler T's don't seem to care about that. Frankly, I'd just as soon make my own before I'd try to do business with them (and "Try" is an apt definition.)
That said, congrats on getting at least part of your order.

It appears the T grip is a hobby business.
Yeah, their hobby is collecting peoples' money, and not being in any hurry to fulfill their own obligations.

No kidding, their instructions include a phone number that is never answered, a phone mailbox that is always full, no response to texts, and their quality is nil!
