I have several knives with the handles made out of either linen Micarta or canvas micarta and that stuff is really tough and hard to beat up. I would love to get a set of grips for a revolver made out of that stuff. Anyone heard of such a grip?

I think Don Collins works with Micarta.

photoman,

Thanks for the link, you are right he does make some micarta ones however those are not the look I am going for. I am hoping to find a grip that has the greenish black "tactical" look to it and is moderately abrasive. I know several 1911 grips have been made out of it, just not sure if they have ever made a revolver one with the same style of look.

A couple of years ago someone was selling white micarta
grips on ebay that he had Hogue make for K frame square
butt guns.I bought several pairs.Look and feel great on blued
guns.

I would love to see some as well. I like VZ grips for 1911s.. but they only make grips for J Frames and I've personally had no experience with those. Curious if anyone makes em for N Frames.
