I’ve never owned a real Tyler T grip, not even a BK adapter however I’ve always wanted to try one. I have a nice 19-3 that was just begging for one. So I stumbled upon a similar product offered by Robertson Trading Post so I ordered it. It arrived in a week and so far I am very happy with it. Figured I’d share my experience here.

I like the grip adapter, looks very good on your 19, I've been thinking about ordering a set of three from Robertson's

What a coincidence. I was re-reading reviews about Robertson's grip adapters last night. It seems some people like them, others they don't fit worth a darn. Look like they fit better on the round butts then squares. I would sure like for them to fit well.

Here’s a Robertson’s Trading Post adapter on a square butt. I have a black BK on a Model 10 square butt but no photo. I’ll try to get one later today.

Nice! I have a BK on my 3-in model 64. Looks good. Better yet, as another poster said, it fits my hand pretty well.

It looks good enough in the pictures provided here that I just ordered one, myself. They are reasonably enough priced, that I won't feel bad, if I end up not liking it.
Thanks guys!

I too love the Hogue Bantam in wood, great grip. As for the Robertson's-well I bought one the fit was ****. Tried working it but nothing I did would allow it to fit properly. I saw a second offered on another forum, the seller sent it to me first to see how it fit and it's just fine-so they are rather hit and miss in my opinion.

Got a BK for my blue 19-3 and it's great.

The first Robertson's

The second

The BK

Robertson Trading Post is as good as it gets. Square deal, and stand-up in all of my past dealings. Personally, I am more of a fan of grip adapters on J-frames.

Glad to know RTP has availability of a descent adapter. Thanks for sharing.
