Call Mark at www.pinaccle-guns.com. His shop has done a number of conversions for guys on this forum. Please post when you get an answer. You might consider .460 Roland, but would need new brass. I don't know if a titanium cylinder could handle the pressure. Good luck. John

Yeah a super or the rowland would be a bit brisk in this piece

. More interested in the super cause I have some on hand. Anybody else?

I have a 325 PD with 2.5" barrel. It's plenty powerful with standard pressure .45 acp and .45 +P for me. What do you want to use it for? I had a 4" 329 and it was the most painful handgun I have ever fired with full power 240 gr. .44 Mags!!! My 4" 500 was a pussycat by comparison.

I'm looking for a 230 grain bullet at about 1000fps, significantly less than a full power 44 mag. Using it for woods walking and general plinking fun. Using 45acp most of the time and I don't reload. Just want to have the extra power if I need/want it.

Yes it will handle 45 Super no problem. Consider getting some Hogue X frame grips, they will fit the N frame also.

I have both the 325/329 PD's.

240gr. 44 Special handloads at 1000fps in the 329 shoot really nice for me, I shoot a bunch of 'em, weekly.

I cannot imagine a 230gr. 45ACP/Super at 1000fps being any less wonderful.

Photoman,LOL, thanks but I've done that before, had an airlite 357, got through 1 cylinder full before bleeding.
Plus p ammo is quite comfortable in it.
Stock rubber (ugly grips on it now) Any suggestions for good looking grips that will work against the recoil?
