Can you help me with a few gun values? All these guns are NIB except the last one and all the prices are out the door. The asking prices are as listed and I've dickered with the guy as low as he'll go...so if I ask him any more, he will start to get frustrated with me.

S&W 34-1 4"bbl nickel .22lr $573
S&W 19-3 4"bbl nickel .357mag pinned/rec $573
S&W 19-3 6"bbl nickel .357mag pinned/rec $573
S&W 64 4" stainless .38spl (no IL) $406
S&W 17-3 6" blued .22lr in 70%-80% cond $412

What do you think? Are any of these guns great deals not to pass up or even just decent deals worth consideration? I would like to know since he's only going to hold them for my 1st dibbs through the weekend.

Thank you very much for your help!

In my opinion, those prices are more than $100 high for each piece. It does depend on your area though, but even for Csalifornia, they are high.

It is a shame that greed is infecting quite a few gun dealers. Even around here, where prices are usually OK (not great, but OK) the dealers are taking advantage of the current panic buying phase. I guess the old saying of "strike while the iron's hot" applies, but it seems like they are biting the hand that feeds them right now.

Those prices on the top three are high from what I have seen available around here. At $500 they would just be an OK deal. The 64 is not as bad, but the 17 at 70%-80% seems high even for the current market.

I think the prices on the NIB guns are reasonable and I would not hesitate to buy them all. NIB guns like your friend is selling do not come along very often and deserve a premium over a "used" gun. If you can afford them, I say buy them. You will not lose any money on them should you decide to re-sell them.
