-Snub nose

Quick answer is no… But there’s been 442s and I suppose 642s that have been retrofitted with Ti cylinders ( [PICS] Titanium cylinder on 442 )
Heres one I recently sold, after acquiring a 342PD (which BTW is only slightly
lighter than the 442Ti)

Makes sense now. Not sure why I didn’t think of that. Really appreciate your response.

How do you like your 342PD and if you don’t mind would you share some photos?

I've carried a 342Ti for over 20 years and love it. The PD version is slightly lighter, because it has different grips and deeper cylinder flutes.
I do have a PD version locked away as a spare. They look a lot like this, only the frame and barrel shroud are black.

The 342PD carry's light and convenient in an AHOLSTER Kydex pocket holster. With a couple of speed strips and speedloaders as backup, I usually feel confident I have enough at hand to defend myself and mine.
Here’s a quick picture of the pistol wearing a set of UM grips. The gun now wears a set of VZ Operator grips.

That’s awesome! Thanks for the info.
Unfortunately my knowledge of the carry smiths is limited as it is not a rabbit hole I have gone down yet. So I appreciate the responses from you guys.
I ended up purchasing that pistol out of curiosity and have not received it yet. For some reason I think it was advertised as a 642PD but have a suspicion it is a 342PD. Won’t know till I get my hands on it.

If you “lucked into” a 342PD in good to excellent condition, you’re not going to be disappointed. It’s a classic “carry a lot” defensive pistol.

I was able to upload a few more photos to reference. I would be pleasantly surprised if I did “luck into one” just think they advertised as a different model. Time will tell.
I appreciate you sharing your info demkofour, thank you!

Be interested in hearing just what you bought when you get it. I put a titanium cylinder on my 642-1 and it shaved the weight to 12.0 ounces with Altamont wood boot grips.
