As part of a payment on a truck I was given a model 610 unfired in the box, would like to know an approximate manufacturer date, I think early 90,s

Looks like August 14, 1990, if I'm calculating the special order number correctly.

Hopefully, someone will be along to confirm.

It came in two barrel lengths, 5 and 6.5 inch. The 5 inch is by far the most desirable and will bring $1500+ for that package. I won’t sell mine for that much.

The spec order 0227 is the Julian date code for the 227th day of 1990.
