Default Ladysmith 60-3

Just picked up a Ladysmith 60-3 for $500. I think I did ok. Can anyone help me with a date and possible insurance valuation for a BDF serial prefix model 60-3. Has original rosewood stocks but no box

I think $550 is a fair price. I paid about the same for a -7 last year. Did you get the rug?

I think you did well on price, not sure how much they’re retailing for these days but I would think $600 anyways.

They’re a nice revolver, and definitely not a nice lady when it comes to shooting full house .357 mag, especially with those wood grips…!

Mine was in 38 spl. I don’t think they came out with the magnums until later in the production run

These are great little guns. I picked my up a few years ago for roughly the same price. Enjoy.

Your BDF likely shipped in 1991. The company still used the hard
plastic cases (not the Bob Allen gun rugs) that year.

I paid over $700 for mine. The actual price was pretty good but by the time I paid tax, shipping and transfer it turned a good deal into what I considered to be just a barely OK deal. It was the first gun I bought since GB started collecting tax for Missouri and I wasn't sure if they would just charge the state tax or the local taxes as well. Well, they charged me the whole shebang. I'm not sure but I think they even taxed the shipping.
