Default 629-2 sight question.....

LGS has a 629-2, with an unfluted cylinder on consignment, with a scope on it. If I was to purchase it, I'd remove the scope and install a rear sight. Does anyone know if the correct sight has a square, or round front?

Square front N sights are hard to find. Plenty of K's available but they aren't the same.

Post-model number - I think this is right since my pre-27 is different than all my later N frames - N sight is ~2.86" long with ~1.96 hole to hole spacing. K is 2.75 long with 1.725 spacing. I have found a few Model 28 sights lately which work fine if you don't mind the lack of grooves.

I probably have a grooved one. I know I have a couple smooth 28's and checkered 27's.
