Default Nice 17-6 find

I picked up a very nice 4 inch 17-6 this morning from a LGS in a neighboring town. It’s an early 17-6 with no underlug (looks very much like a model 18). According to the 4th edition SCSW, “some early 17-6’s reported without full lug”. I have no idea if there are few enough to make this a rare one. Unfortunately, it does not have the factory grips but came with a pair of Altamont faux ivories that actually look nice.
I stopped at the BLM land on the way home and put some rounds through it. It shot nice and I am very pleased.
