Default 610???

A 610 is on my radar, and every once in a while I check the web. In going thru the searches this morning, I came across one that is stamped 610, but is chambered in 38-40. Seems like an odd-duck to me, can anyone shed any light on this?

Never heard of one. I think it’s a an interesting and very well executed conversion.

Probably had the cylinder rechambered. 40S&W, 10MM and 38-40 are all 40cal. I have a Ruger Buckeye with 10mm and 38-40 cyl .

The odd part is that the barrel is stamped 38-40 on the right side of the barrel, and not 10mm.
