Default Davidson's Model 20

Ordered one of the Davidson Model 20s. Arrived yesterday.

Overall nice piece. Four screw with the hole. Barrel does not appear to be two piece. Trigger and hammer nicely case hardened. Finish is black, not blue. Not sure what it is exactly but it looks nice and seems tough enough. Grips are a bit thinner and flatter than old N frame Magnas. Comes in the standard blue plastic box, 2/2/24 production date is I translated correctly.

Interestingly it's stamped "20" in the yoke. By rights it should be a 20-3 but oh well. EGW serial number, don't know if that's unique to these or not. Davidson told my dealer they only made 250 of these.

Hopefully the photo loaded.

Looks good. I haven’t pulled the trigger to buy one. Damn hole just irks me on a classic style revolver. Hope it works out well for you.

Cool gun, hope it shoots well.

If it followed S & W model numbering, I would have called it a 520-1, a standard/tapered barrel version of the 1980s model 520 made for but rejected by the NYSP.

Congrats on the new Model 20. I like fixed-sight revolvers... SIMPLE and low profile.
