Default My first j frame

I finally was able to add a j frame into my collection, my lgs messaged me and asked if I wanted it, they got it as a trade in, it’s a 1969 no dash model 60 with the original
Stocks that are numbered to the gun. Neat little snubby 38 special. I think I got it for a solid price.

You certainly got off to a good start with the J frames. That's a classic. Well done.

Thank you sir, they normally ask me about certain stuff from time to time, I collector smith pre locks and they had literally just got it in, they cleaned it and put a new spring kit in it. Definitely nice for the age

Exactly what he said!

And, darg, you are right, you can't have just one. I tried owning just one and I failed miserably. It did although give me a whole new focus on collecting.

I’ve personally never been a j frame fan, I love my L and k frames the most but it’s nice to add some diversity to my collection.

Very nice Model 60. Congratulations on the purchase.

And the solid price is—-wait for it—-wait for it

I've personally never been a handgun fan, growing up on shotguns in a rural setting (hunting and trap). Always said "if I ever need a handgun it's time to move". But recent meth-head activity in my small town, plus the fact that I drive an hour into the worst parts of the city for work...
It was time for a handgun.
I now own 3 J-frames and love them. My 13yo and Wife shoot with me at the range and I EDC.

J-frame is a great pocket carry gun. Congrats.

A must have for any Smith fan. For me a solid price would be anything under $550.

Congrats on the acquisition. Be forewarned that J-frames tend to multiply.

Nothing like a J frame to make your N feel like a boat anchor!
