I just ordered a box of 20 of these rounds. I have been using Speer GDHP Short Barrel 135 grain 357 mag ammo. I'm thinking of switching to the Buffalo Bore stuff because a forum member stated that the Speer stuff fragments and loses its tip. Anyone have any experiences with either of these rounds? I will be shooting them through a M&P360 Chiefs Special. Thanks in advance for your help.

Just to add a detail or two. The Buffalo Bore stuff uses a Speer GDHP not short barrel round. It should fly at around 1015 fps. Because it doesn't have the deep cavity of the Speer GDHPSB round, I'm thinking that this one won't fragment/etc.
I think that round uses the same bullet as the standard .38 +P GDHP round. If so, those trip the chrono at almost the exact same velocity out of my 5 inch Model 27 in the factory loading. They expand very well in water, and are indistinguishable from the 9mm 124 +P round, unless I break out the calipers and measure the base of the bullet.
You might want to check out Double Tap ammo as well. Basically the same ballistics for less money. I believe they also use the GDHP. I have some in the 158gr and they are stout.
