Default Does an SCA serial number mean anything?

I have an early 340pd with serial number SCAxxxx.

Since it's an early Scandium revolver I'm wondering if the SCA prefix was specially assigned to Scandium guns.

Yes, according to the Standard Catalog early ones had the SCA prefix; later ones went to whatever the triple alpha prefix was when they were manufactured. I don't know that SCA was applied to other scandium models but perhaps. I have a later one with a DBU prefix and had another that was DCT. None of my other scandium models have the SCA prefix.
