48-7 Review/Bought one
Looking for a 4" Model 48. Wonder if any has any experience with the 48-7? Fit and finish? Shootability? I can live with the lock. Thanks for any feedback.
Found one reasonably priced at a Cabelas, their free shipping to a local store and no transfer fee. Used but looks to be in very good shape, under $700 so not a super deal but not bad.

Under $700...for myself, I would probably go for that!

Picked up gun today easy 97% condition, very slight turn ring, almost no other evidence of being fired. Very happy with the gun, off to the range Friday.

Every Model 48, from no dash on up, that I've seen at the local Cabelas for the last several years has been $999 or more; although there is a 4 inch -4 there now showing some wear for $799. Less than $700 seems like a pretty good price as new ones are MSRP $1100+. Enjoy and thanks for sharing it with us.

Those prices are why I picked up this gun, that is 1 tiny step below ANIB and shoots like a dream.
