Are they factory stocks? Then call S&W customer Service and tell them what you need. 800-331-0852 They will need the gun model number and serial number
Be aware that that if they are not S&W manufactured stocks that S&W has used stocks from several makers on factory guns. Just saying they are combats is not enough information, then you need to determine what company made them. Are they rubber or wood? They could be Uncle Mikes, Pachmayr, Hogue, Badger or others. You may need to contact the maker of the stocks.
For hardware stores try Ace first, they usually have a selection of "gun screws". Except for S&W where the common stock screws for their wood stocks are a 5x44, many other makers simply use a 6x32, which will be easy at Ace. They will not have 5x44 screws though.
