Default Lipsey's 432 UC GOT ONE!!!

Had my name on the want list at 5 different gun shops for one of these. Got a call on Thursday that my gun was in. Went to the shop, looked it over, and bought it. (slightly under msrp) The pin for the front sight was sticking out one side slightly, tapped it in with small brass hammer. Set screw for rear sight was loose, tightened that up. No other issues. Cleaned, lubed gun, dry fired about 100 times (using dummy rounds that I had made.) Friday, went to the range and fired 48 rounds of mixed homeloads. All is good to go. I also chronographed several loads. Average velocities varied from a low of 779.9 fps to a high of 866.8 fps depending on bullet weight and powder. Factory ammo is difficult to find here, so I did not use any on this first range trip.
So far I am very pleased with this gun.

Congrats on getting your 432. I think I have waited too long but put down $100 deposit today on the same revolver. My LGS said they should know this week, after checking with their distributor, if they will have one available. We shall see....

I am pretty sure most will appreciate these models of UC.
I have the .38 edition;sadly it locked up on 4rth shot.
fiddled around gently to finally get cylinder to release.
called S&W a very decent rep sent me a label and should be back monday.
First J frame as UC much more handy than SP101{quite heavy}.
Looking forward to getting real chance to use. My front sight was alsodead. If this was my only firearm I would've been pretty unhappy.
Everyone must remember it is mechanical!!REALLY hope this works out.
Concept is great application a little of want.Again the Rep was very good to work with and got me where I needed to be. Hoping this all sorts out.

Congratulations! Still hoping to find a 632 or 432 sometime sooner than later at one of my local stocking dealers.

My UC arrived yesterday.
All functions and sight all fine.
Might find myself another J frame
to shoot the heck out of?
Highly recommend the UC.
Much better trigger than SP101.
Thanks to S & W for quick turnover on repair.

I ordered the 432UC and they got it in, in about a week. $669 plus tax and background. I also ordered 200rds of the Lost River Ammunition for it. Everything looks good and functions well on mine. I really like it except for the cost of the ammo at a dollar a round. I think it might be the best snubby configuration I have had to date.

The stupid computer inserted snobby after I had put in snubby! I corrected it, thanks, Tom

Looks like you have an honest dealer just like mine. I gave $668 plus tax for my 432UC, while I hear horror stories of dealers charging way above list. There is a perception that these are in limited demand, but my dealer got mine in about two weeks after I asked him to find one, and he got a second at the same time.

Sistema1927, exactly, I posted on here not to get stupid and pay these scalper prices as was talked about in another post on these guns. Someone paid something like $1500 for one on GB. Each to their own but in my mind, that's just plain nuts!

I'm glad that you all are happy with your purchases. That is a good setup on those revolvers. And I'm glad that you guys know how to fix the problems when they appear, making all well. But, I am disappointed with the quality control at S&W. It seems that we have come to expect less than perfect from them, and that makes me hesitant to purchase anything new these days.

I have one of the 442 UC revolvers. Front sight was dead when I first got it in but I emailed Smith and they shipped me a replacement really quick. I installed it and started shooting it. I have about 350 rounds through mine at this point and it is the best of about a dozen J frames I have owned. Very accurate, especially with lighter bullet weights. I was shooting great groups with Blazer brass 125 grain TMJ. To me, the trigger is worth the extra cost of this gun. I've had three 442's and this doesn't even feel like the same trigger.

Went to range for 2nd trip with my 432 UC. This time I fired factory, Fed 85gr jacked hollow points and some Hornady Critical Defense. All are "minute of paper plate," fast firing at 10 yards. I had also changed the grips to a set of Boot grips that are my favorite. They pocket carry better than the VZ grips and I am accoustomed to them, since I have carried a J-frame of one type or another since 1980. The boot grips do not look as nice as the VZ, but, for me, they feel better.

I made a deposit on a 432UC about 1 week ago. So far, my LGS Distributor has not located one. Hope it all works out.

I bought two of the Taurus 327's recently (2" and 3"), but I still want one of the UC guns too. I'm watching for one to turn up. I don't want it bad enough to order it or to go to an auction site though.

Someone here once said that 32's are addictive, and by golly they were right. I started off with a little "I" frame 32 that I was never going to shoot, and now I've got the two more, and reload the 32 Long.

Just what I needed. Another rabbit hole to fall down.

I don't know about a Kydex holster but I've got a leather one that I must have bought somewhere along the way for a J-frame 38. I found it in a bag-0-holsters that I don't use, and mostly can't remember ever buying. The 2" Taurus fits perfectly and a UC probably would too.

It's a "Master" brand, so I'm sure it came from Holsterama.com.

Look no further than the Harry's Icon 2.0 in Kydex. I got mine the other day and it is a great holster for this little gun. I'm very impressed with it so far. I carry it AIWB but it can be carried in a variety of positions.
