Found another smith I’ve been searching for
I’ve managed to find multiple guns I was looking for on legacy collectibles website, the first was a 3.5 inch model 27-2 and now I’ve found a full lug 6 inch 14-6, been wanting one of these for a while but they don’t pop up often. I went ahead and threw it on layaway.

I just looked that up. Wow, that is a beautiful revolver. I really like the full underlug like the 586. The price seemed fair also. I am working on picking up a 14-1 single action soon.

That was a good snag. I’ve been looking for one for a while and the only one I found at Tulsa last weekend had a laughably high price tag in my opinion. I’d have happily paid what you did for that one.

Believe me I couldn’t snag it quick enough and they don’t charge sales tax either on guns so it was a deal in my mind, gun looks mint even if it doesn’t have the original case.

I’ve been on the lookout for a pre lock Model 38 for quite awhile . . . .

Very nice find. I don't remember the last time I saw one of those for sale. Fairly scarce gun. Enjoy.

Great revolvers!!
My preference is the 4" version, but either way they are great (and not seen all that often these days).

I love 4” and shorter myself normally but I have so many 4 inch guns, I’m glad I could find one of these. The 6” ones I’ve heard are well balanced and fantastic shooters
