Default 48-7 Range Report

OK, just forget the lock, pretend it's not there, put a plug in if you must. This is one fine revolver. Excellent SA trigger and very good DA. For a rimfire the DA trigger is really nice, it is not the DA trigger of a fine model 27 but very good. Gun is accurate, sights are typical S&W, I like the Patridge some may prefer the ramp of old. Try one you will like it.

I have a 6" 48-2 and love it. The K frame .22s have no equal.

Your 4" barrel/Patridge combo is interesting. I've been on the look out for a model 18 for quite some time.

Thanks for your feedback. I live for range reports.

Bird- don't overlook the 4" 17-5 and 17-6 (-6 available in both regular and full lug barrel configurations) if you run across one. Fine guns as well.
