Love shooting bowling pins 🎳 and have entered a couple matches and shooting steel is just as fun the trigger on the competitor in single action is almost to light can’t believe I am saying that anyone else have this problem?

These "customized" S&W revolvers are definitely fine tuned, and the triggers are very light. I think it will just take a little time for you to get used to the single action pull. My son showed me an older 686-3 National Match that was built and tuned by Bill Davis for PPC competitions. As you can see it's 1 of 500 (1989), and the trigger pull is extremely smooth and light.

Do not mistake "too light" for smooth! If you do not have a trigger pull gauge and you have shot only guns with a production line factory SA & DA trigger pull it will be very hard to determine the actual trigger pull! It all depends on what you have become accustomed to! Is 2.5lbs to light , or 4lbs, or maybe 6lbs SA pull normal for you. I shoot pins also, and at our shoots we have 6 different classes we can enter. 22 auto, 22 rev, intermediate auto, intermediate rev, mag auto, & mag rev.! I shoot only the rev classes and all my guns have a 7.5DA pull with a 2-3lb SA pull! They all "feel" the same, but each is a little different! Your first task is to determine what your trigger pull is and then determine what you are comfortable with! Also, it's important that you realize this is YOUR gaming gun, not a carry gun or general-purpose gun that others may be shooting!
