I am new to the forums. I used S&W revolvers through the 80's for duty, and pleasure.
Went to the dark side (auto) for about 20 yrs, and just came back to the fold.
My first returning experience was not the warm and fuzzy I had remembered for S&W.
I have a new SSR that has 50 rounds out of it, and is going back to the factory for a trigger repair. Single action cocking is not functioning properly.
The question on the forum is whether I should consider some Performance Center work while the gun is there.
I am considering having a red fibre optic front sight installed because of old man eyes, and the ball detent lock up.
Is the ball detent lock up that much of an improvement.
What other services should I consider? Any pictures, or threads I can look at the show the work available from the Performance Center.
Thanks,
Curly
