Default Model 66-6 4” barrel in a Model 66-3

Just as the title says, I purchased a Model 66-6 4” barrel since I figured I might need one. Having looked at a second time and seeing as how the -6 frames and barrels were a bit beefier, you guys know if the barrel will fit my -3? I’m afraid that it’ll probably fit and shoot well, but the barrel will not be flush with the -3 frame and will look wonky.
