I picked this up today for a really good price. A S&W Model 13-3. Made somewhere between 1981 and 1982. Lots of holster wear.

K-Frames are my favorite, I've never owned a Model 13.

I already had the S&W holster. Such neat pistols.

They are fantastic revolvers to add to any collection! Congratulations! My 13-2 only arrived in my safe last November. First one I've ever owned. You're going to really like it!

I'm trying some Herrett's Shooting Star grips no it. I've had them for years, to be honest, I'm not crazy about them. The size is fine, but that ridge along the top is annoying on full loads.

Being as it's a hiking gun more than anything, I may put some Hogue rubber grips on it. Ugly as Hell, but very utilitarian.
