Would you?
I have a chance to buy a 329NG for $500.
Excellent condition.
Seems to be a no brainer.

YES
If you don’t buy it let me know where it is and i’ll buy it!
Must be a friend discount cause no store is gonna sell it at that price.
Even if you hate it you can flip it for twice what you paid.

Seems to be an excellent deal, but would I buy it? Personally, no. It's not the type of gun I collect, and I've shot one, with no desire to do so again, thank you very much, even with .44 spl ammo. Sure, I could buy it and flip it to make a few bucks, but my days of doing that stuff are long past.

Yes, I have no desire to shoot magnums out of it.
Well you guys confirmed my belief it is a smoking deal.
The shop opens Tues.
If it’s still there, it’s mine! Mine! All mine!

Every once in a while when I'm checking the online inventory at one shop up Allegheny River Blvd. they have a smokin' deal that really dumbfounds me! (Ok, everything does!) An example was a G23, 3rd generation with 5 mags, case and original paperwork for under $500, and I think closer to $450 OTD. It was barely used. Good find by you!
I'm trying to stay in a holding pattern as far as acquiring guns is concerned, but it's not easy when those deals come along!

Ok, great deal as described but we have to wonder why? What LGS with any knowledge of current prices would put a $800-$1000 gun on the shelf tagged for $500? Wouldn't happen where I shop.

For $500 I would buy it, shoot it, clean it and do it all over again and again. Put my name on the list of people that will pay the $500 if you don't.

Well I have good news and bad news.
First the good.
I did get it and it looks to be barely fired.
Now the bad.
The price listed on the website was incorrect.
The tag on the gun was marked $800.
He let me have it for $700.
Still a fair deal.
It’s a small shop that I’ve bought many guns from.
Always treated me fair so I’m not going to make a federal case out of it.
I know mistakes happen. No biggie.
The funny part is, it was traded in by a woman.
I can’t imagine a woman shooting it but he said she did.
Overall I’m happy.

I saw that one, too, and assumed they meant 1500. Nice pick up!

Even at $700 including the box, you stole that gun. That's easily a $1200 gun since it's no longer made. A big congrats and can't wait to see pics.

Really $1200? I had no idea.
I just liked it because it was “different.”

I considered buying one recently, at an LGS for $999.95. It was LNIB and at that price a good deal. The only reason I didn't, was that I purchased another one, that was higher on my priority list. You did exceptionally well for any Night Guard.

They generally go for in excess of $1000 on Gun Broker, so you still got a solid deal.

The price is really good. I gave $1000 for the one I had. Note. Had. It was brutal. Traded it for a 629. I’d buy it at that price but just to trade for something that is more fun to shoot
