610 prelock, 5 inch and 6 1/2 inch, both NIB!
I'm happy to be back to the forum!
I have stumbled upon two super rare 610's.
Both new in box, both PRE-LOCKS with original receipt of sale to same person, one is the 6 1/2 inch, the other is the 5 inch, pretty much a unicorn. In 10 years or so I've only seen a couple of the 6 1/2 inch ones for sale, and only one 5" NIB for sale.
So, for you sage experts that have helped us all in the past, what should they be listed for?
Also, is it safe to sell here on the forum? I'd assume so but would like opinions!

When I buy/sell/trade on the Forum I look for engagement and post counts. It's an indicator of reputation here. As far as value goes, it seems to be pretty regional. I've noticed revolver prices are a little soft right now, but for those two rare birds that may not be the case. Were I selling them (which definitely would Not be the case with that 5 inch) I'd probably start somewhere north of 2k and come down as needed. For an old guy like me that seems like a lot of green, but given that most 28s are going for around a grand it's probably right. Others probably know better though, I haven't accumulated too many from this era.

I'm north of 74, and wonder the value of saving anything! I guess if my kids were into guns then that would be that. But that's not the case. Crazy how guns can mess with your head. You don't want to mess up the NIB ones by shooting them, but just hang onto them for that unknown attraction.
I also have a 610 prelock in 3 7/8 that unfortunately hurts when I shoot it due to carpel tunnel surgery a few years ago. May be selling that one too.
I appreciate your reply. I think the 610 nib 5 inch on GB last year was buy-it-now set at $2500 and didn't last a day! I guess I'll put a ridiculous number out there to see if the right guy wants the special gun.
Have to consider the forum for selling as well.

I'm getting up there too....fortunately I have a few grandsons that appreciate firearms so the special ones will go to them. I'll sell the other ones off, and probably starting not too far in the future.
