Default Father's collection

I'm in the process of cataloging my late father's collection.
Mostly looking for words of wisdom from the experts, as to possible date of manufacture, and possible pricing.

AFD is Nov 1984. I’m no expert by any means but I’d value a Model 60 like that between $400-550ish. Maybe lower end for the one pictured as it’s missing factory grips.

Welcome to the forum!

Pricing is subjective because it is based on many things. Besides the overall condition, being completely original, having all the original items that came with the gun such as original grips, box, instructions, etc., all effect the value of the gun. Folks here will give you a pretty good idea of the value but remember in the end, the value amounts to whatever someone is willing to pay. A gun with a worth of $500 may bring in more if listed on a auction site and two people get into a bidding war, or it may bring in less if no one happens to be interested in it at that particular time. Guns will never bring in face value if taken to a dealer, as the dealer has to be able to make a profit. Dealer prices tend to be around 30/40 percent of selling price. Also, buyers will take into consideration shipping costs and transfer fees when deciding if the seller price is acceptable.
