Question about current rebates
So I bought a new 686+ 2.5 snub on Dec 19th. The FFL address on file wasn’t updated and it had to be signed for. The fellow wasn’t home anyway.. they sent it back to selling dealer. It’s not quite there yet. Long story short is it’s NOT going to make it here by 12/31. In the fine print the rebate looks like it says it has to be transferred before 2025. I can’t call SW cause they’re on holiday till the 2nd. You think a phone call would help me get my 100.00 rebate? This deal wasn’t my fault.. sucks.

I just submitted my $100 rebate claim yesterday after I brought home my new S&W Model 19 Classic. They say it will be an 8-10 week wait time for my prepaid gift card to arrive. Best of luck to you with your situation. I hope that S&W's customer service people can help with getting your rebate.

I don't recall submitting anything related to the transfer done by my FFL, just the receipt from the out-of-state seller and pictures of the box label.

I bought my XVR 460 online and did my rebate online. I just read the small print and if I’m NOT mistaken, the quote I’ve posted below from S&W’s fine print says if purchased online, the purchase date must fall before Dec 31st, but filling out the rebate form online gives you until Jan 31st since you waited on the transfer. The process online is simple. Take a pic/scan your invoice and take a pic of the UPC label on the box and submit. Hope I’m correct. Best of luck.

No problem at all. I'd contact them when they open just to make sure I’m correct. But I think I am. Only reason adding Jan 31st date makes sense.

The gun store dropped the ball on this gun and they sold the one I paid for. I kinda gave them a low star review and the owner called me very apologetic and overnighted a new one my way and said if I don’t get the rebate because of them he’d do 100 in store credit. Pretty solid folks. Here’s the nc ordnance stocks going on it and a set of eBay cheapie combats (50 bucks) which are nice but the real combats are going to kick butt!

My $100 pre-paid Mastercard gift/rebate card arrived in the mail today 1/13. I submitted my rebate form online on 12/28. I was anticipating a 6-8 week wait. I am very pleased with the quick turnaround time.

Here’s the gun and both sets of stocks. The cheapies clear the HKS speedloader. The “factory” combats— no way! Went ahead against better judgement and got the Dremel out and made clearance. Took a touch too much in one spot. Purely cosmetic. I think a little wood wax stick will fix it. This is my new edc with all the sweat, dirt, spilled coffee etc so I can look past the yoke gap, finish scratches, slightly “canted” rear sight blade. Good things— great great trigger. Barrel alignment is good. Function is perfect. I’m happy.

Update— I submitted the online claim. Sent pic of box label and my receipt. They kicked the claim. So I sent them a copy of the paper receipt that came in box and I’ll call tomorrow. I don’t see what the issue was. Quite concerned at this point…they said the receipt wasn’t good

Same thing happened to me. I sent a copy of the receipt by mail. It worked fine for me on my first one a month ago. Can't talk to a real person so will have to wait and see.

I bought my 617 on Dec 19.
Had the plastic card by about 3 weeks.
I spent it yesterday at the LGS on reloading components.
Easy Peasy.
30 day turnaround.
