You can buy them discounted at lots of different places.

Sir, you could just make one out of an old pair of trousers. Cut off one leg, sew up the cut end, salvage a belt loop from the trousers, and sew it on up near the cuff. Should take about 10 minutes for someone with a sewing machine, maybe an hour if you have to do it by hand.

It won't be "high speed, low drag," but it won't cost $30, either.

Get one of the shotgun shooters belt bags.

It will work for pistol and rifle cases just fine.
Or, get one of the shotgun shell box holders that goes on your belt that trap/skeet shooters use...this thing will get heavy enough once filled with brass!

What Andy said is what I use and sometimes a old shot bag.

I have found that the little mesh bags with the zipper on top work best. They measure about 1'X 1'. They are actually for keeping things separate in a washing machine, but they sell at Wally World for a couple of dollars.

There is always dirt and sand in and on the brass when I pick it off the ground at the range. I just throw it all into one of these bags, and shake it up. All the dirt falls through the mesh, and the brass is ready for tumbling.

Very cheap way out, and I have found nothing that works as well.

I keep several 5 quart plastic ice cream buckets handy. Put one on the shooting bench, dump your revolver brass as you shoot and you keep it sorted. Use another for pick up brass.

I like that "delicates" bag idea 840! You can shake all that had dry crud out before throwing it in your trunk!

I was torn between "unmentionables" and "Ladies undies!". I reckon that's what they was made fer!

Those "delicates" bags are real handy if you use foam ear plugs and are a tightwad who reuses them. Toss a bunch of the used plugs in a bag and throw it in with the laundry. Takes the wax and crud right off.

Sounds a lot like the old "bank" bags I use, heavy canvas constructions, draw strings, real sturdy.

I use zip lock bags (plastic) for my fired brass. That is, the kind with a sliding "zipper". Of course, I mostly use revolvers so there isn't any dirt on them except a bit of lube and carbon .

You could use a nail apron ($2.00) for intial pickup or when shooting put the live rounds in one side and empties in the other.

+1 on the Maxpedition Rolly Polly's. They have a drain for small trash, attach to a belt, and roll up out of the way when not in use.

I use a gas mask bag, Cheaper than dirt had them 4 for $10 a while back and I picked up 4. Fit's on your belt, shoulder strap or you can thigh wear it.
