I had a 360PD and mistakenly traded it off, but liked it so well, that I was able to get the newer M&P 360 which has the matte cylinder and trijicon night sight. So two questions -
1.) What about the cylinder marks after shooting? What are they? Though they seem to be superficial, would there be permanent damage?
and
2.) What's the deal on the night sights? Visible glow? Low-light? Any issues I should be aware of?
Thanx in advance

serving as a bump to the top and I'll clarify, on my former PD model with titanium cylinder and this either stainless or carbon steel when firing there develops a discoloration near the business end of the cylinder on every chamber, difficult to remove, but removable. AND the night sight is terrible - barely visible in total darkness - I called them and they're sending another for comparison. If it's unacceptable they said they'd send me a hi-viz or red ramp - what's that gonna cost to replace?

I have a M&P 360. I clean the cylinder front with Hoppe's Elite that I purchased from Brownell's online. It seems to do the trick without hurting the black finish. My tritium night sight is bright enough. The half-life is ten years so I'll need a new front sight around 2018. Hope this helps.

OK - smith volunteered me a new one - it's super bright compared - visible even in the daylight - but the pin is still backordered - sent an email to refresh their memory - new question - can I change this out by myself with the right tools?
