For $700 I wouldn’t care who the distributor was.

If it's gone when you go back to buy it, don't be surprised.

At that price, it's probably already gone. Wouldn't matter to me if it wasn't a Lou Horton. At that price, I would have jumped all over it. Good luck.

Whether it’s a LH or not, $700 is an absolute steal - the combats are worth $250 to $300 alone. Buy it!
I happily paid much more than $700 for my LH about 5 years ago and it didn’t have the box. Here’s my LH 2.5”, one of the three 2.5” 686s I have. My best 2.5” 686 purchase was my dash 4 + for $650.

OK, I grew up in Framingham. Lew Horton is where my bandmates and I used to go to get black powder for our flash box. I remember them being in Southboro, or Westboro, not far from Route 9.
What is a Lou Horton gun, and why are they desirable?

The snub 686: like the 681, another gun that never finds its way to the valley. Guess I'll just have to console myself with my snub Python.

It never mattered to me whether it came through LH or not. $700 for that piece in the box is very good value by my standards. I would purchase now and concern myself with the other details later.

Dude mine cost 900$ without any box… I would jump on that, even at 900$ it’s a priceless treasure! My 686-1 is my dream gun and shoots like a dream to boot!

Mine was a lot more than any listed above. Bought it to have a 2 1/2 inch 686. Didn't think about it being a LH till later.
