I wasn't aware that they made one. I presume it would have MIM parts. Does it have the lock too? I have the 625-4 Springfield Armory Commemorative .45 ACP Mountain Gun and I shoot it regularly. I'm actually looking for another Mountain Gun barrel so I could convert one of my other 625s.

They definitely made at least one run of them in 45 ACP. Not sure how many though. I wanted one but wasn't going to pay the $500+ they were going for. Of course I'd pay that now for one. They were made after the Springfield commemoratives, and after the 45 Colt run of the 625-6. If they were -6 they would be without a lock and without MIM.

Ny Dealer knew of my addiction to smiths and ordered one with me in mind (pays to know your customers) I'm very glad he did, becuasde they don't make them anymore! And I've only seen one for sale in the last year and that went for $750,00! And they were made in 2000 so no lock, but MIM Parts!

625-6 in .45 Colt have no MIM parts. Those in .45ACP do have MIM parts. Just based on my observations, there were less .45ACP than .45 Colt. I have a 625-6 in .45 Colt, and I'd love to find a good one in .45ACP.

I recently sold a 625-6 MG 45Colt which had MIM parts, no lock. They must have come both ways.

I have one of the 625-6 MGs in .45 ACP. The SN is CEA 91XX and it's a tight grouping son of a gun!
