I was astounded at the beauty of these....
Kim told me he had some nice wood, so I ordered a set in K-rd & Sq and N-Rd&Sq

Model 27-2

I love the wood on the 27. In the third picture, is the backstrap hanging out or is it the angle of the picture?

It does indeed look like it "lips" out a bit down at the bottom of the frame.

Very striking grain on that wood. I like.

On the Model 27-2, the tip of the butt extends a tiny bit, and the photo exaggerates that.
