I have been looking, and trying out holsters for the Classic 1917. I don't want the historically correct holster. I do want:

- High ride
- Thumb snap
- Leather

The holsters I have tried were either for 5" barreled N frames (too short) or 6 - 6 1/2" barreled N frames (too long).

Any suggestions out there?

Steve

Have El Paso make one. Can't do much better.

I agree with Klondike. Have El Paso make you a three persons holster hor your revolver.

What holsters have you tried for the 5" N-frame? I'm looking for one.

I have tried the Bianchi 5BHL for the 5 - 5 1/2" barrel and that proved to be about 1/2" too short, the model for the 6 - 6 1/2" is too long and it goes too far down my leg.

The Bianchi is a nice holster though and I use the short model for a single action Ruger which fits quite nicely into it.
