Took the new 1 7/8" 625-11 45 Colt out for a shoot and was mostly impressed with it's performance. The original finger groove wood grips were replaced after 4 rounds. They hurt! Put some Ahrends smooth round butts from my MG on it, and it made a huge difference in felt recoil. Unfortunately they had to go back on the MG when I was done. (I didn't even try the Pachs I brought out for it.) The double action trigger is smooth and just right in weight, with no hitch at the end of the stroke. I shot it double action only at about 25 yards (paced) and all hits stayed on a standard 9x11 sheet of paper. The rear sight is a V notch, but the front sight is a standard flat top with a white dot. For me this set-up shot about 8" high and slightly to the right. I'm planning on replacing the front sight with a night type sight anyways, so will have to get one a little taller. I'll adjust the windage when I do this replacement. The recoil wasn't as bad as I expected. I shot about 50+ rounds of fast doubles, with the Ahrends grips, with no discomfort at all.

First report I've seen on one of these, thanks. I haven't seen one for sale for some time now. It would make another great pocket gun.

Here's mine. I enjoy shooting it, but then the stock Secret Service grips fit my hand pretty well. It's a little easier to control than the -10 45acp due to a couple of extra ounces of cylinder weight.

Insanity. Two just sold on Gunbroker, one for $1700, the other for $2600. That's just crazy. I bought my first here on the forum for $1200, which I thought was nuts. Traded it, then bought another on Gunbroker a few months ago for $940.

hmmm, the 325NG is Scandium Frame SS dylinder and the two piece 2 1/2" Bbl at 28 oz.

the 325pD/TR Sc frame and Ti cylinder is 24 oz
is the 1 7/8" Bbl. a solid Bbl.? and why is it a 6xx no. model with a Sc frame ?

BJ the barrels on the 625-10 and 625-11 are one piece. As to the numbering system 600 series I don't know. I seen one being sold by Harrison Carrol and found that the 625-11's were only being sold though LH web site as a limited run I ordered and received one and when I found out that only 103 were produced went back to reorder and I was SOL. I saw this one on a local dealer's shelf over a year ago. I purchased a Lew Horton 3" 44 mag instead, from another dealer for less money. When I came up with more money I tried to get my dealer to get one of these from Lew Horton and they were all gone. Then I moved on for a while with other gun projects.

Last month I started wanting one really bad again, so went back to see and it was still there. He had a price of $1059 on it and I ended up trading a gun that I paid about the same for, so was happy. He was happy, I'm sure, to just get rid of the thing. I'm glad I found it and plan on carrying it for off-duty and back-up if I can find a way to carry it discreetly.

Pinkymingeo; Is that a S&W holster yours is shown with. How does it work for concealment?

I think S&W still stocks those thumbbreak pancakes. Comfortable, but not great for concealment. Tom Dyer at Saguaro Gunleather made me the IWB the gun sits in. Cost less than $60, and works well, though it's a little bulky. The McDanielII from Andrews in the top of the photo was made for my 625-10, which is the one I usually carry concealed. Fantastic for the acp, but the -11 doesn't ride down deep enough in it.

S&W also stocks this DeSantis Speed Scabbard for the 2" 625's. I use it with my 625-10.
