Looking to find out the DOB on a 629-1 sn:AJC69XX and a 36-7 LadySmith sn:CAF48XX. Also any idea of the value on the LadySmith very good condition, small rosewood grips, burgandy S&W LadySmith pistol rug, no box or papers. Thanks in advance, Hamock

I don't have my SCSW handy. I'll guess 1985 on the 629-1, but possibly '84.

SCofS&W, 3rd edition, page 400 says:

Apr 2004 ASR Model 327 [SIC that must be a special order]

[Comments in brackets are mine.I don't know what the jump and return in s/n sequence means]
