Well I looked thru the FAQ section and could not find anything so I thought I would ask.

Where can I get the run down on my 629 at? If it any help it starts with G-102xxxx-1

Remove the stocks and get the serial number off the butt. It should start with an "N" or with three letters (ABC1234).

It's listed as having a likely ship date between 1980 and 1983. The pinned barrel was eliminated in 1982.
