For a used 617 in good shape (assuming it is in good shape), it's about right (if my euro to dollar math is correct... about $500).
I have the same revolver and love it.

You will be happy with the 617.
Truly a wonderful gun that wont be picky like the Sig.

I have three 617s: a 6" 10 shot, a 5" 6 shot, and a 4" 10 shot. I like all of them.

Just make sure it's a steel cylinder. For a while they had Aluminum cylinders and spent shells can become stuck in the chambers.

I don't have one yet. I shot one and loved it. I have my eye on a 6" 10 shot. I am going to use it for squirrel hunting.

As far as the prices goes, here's my track on the 617 10-shot. Note the last price I collected was in February 2009 and the price trends was at about $550 USD ≈ €386. A fair price, in my opinion, but only a bargain if it's in great shape with box & papers.
Multiply US Dollars by 0.702493853 to get the Euro equivalent
Smith & Wesson 617-6 Plus Revolver in .22, Long Rifle 4-in Bbl. Bluebook of Gun Values (30th Edition) indicates between $466 in 98% condition and $616 in 100% condition for this gun. I have 27 recorded prices for this model gun from $350 to $650 over a period of 5 Yrs 10 Mos ending February 18, 2009. The average price as of that date was $471. No refurbs, no refinishes, regular sights, adjusted to two magazines (if magazine fed), all represented as 95% or better, no distinction for import location or engineering revision, if any, no special editions, no distinctions for box, papers, tools. Current or last MSRP is $916.

You're gonna take some flack on that. Very few complaints about function on the aluminum cylinder. It was discontinued for cosmetic reasons, according to the Standard Catalog of S&W, 3rd Ed. The steel cylinder came in with the 617-3, although I had a 617-2 with a steel cylinder in a 6-inch Bbl model.
I still have a 617P with a 4-inch bbl. Terrific revolver.

I bought a new 4" 10-shot 617 last September locally for $609 - they are nearly a $100 more now, for some reason. Used 617s run $500 up. I saw a used 10-shot 6" at a show this past spring for $650.
I did swap the grips for some of Kim Ahrends 'Retro Target' grips in unfinished cocobolo, which I finished with a penetrating oil finish. Several months back found me adding the DS-10 Speedloader and 6 x 10 loading block, which really seem to speed up my dispatching lots of ammo, something a 617 is most adept at accomplishing. With my collection of other caliber S&W revolvers, my main complaint about the 617 is simple - I should have bought it years ago - it really is fun!

I have a 617-6, 4inch, 10 shot, that is great. I installed a gold bead front sight, Hogue cylinder release, and Hogue wood big butt grips. I think you'll really enjoy the 617.
