Question M13-3 3 in. nickel

I'm looking ( real seriously) at a M 13-3 Nickel R.B. 3 in that is in mint condition. No box or acessories . Has S/n 9D97xxx, which puts it in the 1982 time frame. Can someone please tell me what I can pay for this thing without really getting hosed?

Thanks
Terry

I've been looking for one of these, they don't just pop up everyday.

If it was $400, I'd buy it instantly. $500 or more I probably wouldn't.

Mint condition though might add some to my $400.

Hope that helps,
Munster

Depending on how you feel about nickel, I second the above. (personally i prefer blue steel, but that's me.)

In my area - in that condition, I don't think it would not last a day at $500 OTD. PEN

I'd say $450 to 550 in mint condition. Saw an unfired M65 3" with box and papers for $550. If you can swing it, I'd snap it up - you don't see too many, especially in nickel.

I also paid $400 for a blued 3" in the box. You do not see the nickle ones often and I'd expect to pay a little more.

Thumbs up

Very smooth looking 13 ..... and if that's the original finish, it's worth $400 .....

Nice work on the 13!! That's a sweet little gun in nickel. I picked up a blued 3" 13 (with factory combats) from a fellow forum member a couple months ago; it's a great shooter. Love those fixed sights.

I too just picked up a model 13-3 in blue. Mine was $350 + tax which came to $383 er something. Your serial number and mine are very close! Mine is 9D974xx. Is there a 4 after the 7 on yours? I won't ask the last two...I know that's a no-no. Mine even has the exact same type of stocks that yours has!

Very nice find indeed. Condition looks factory new! I picked up a blued version and have a lot more than 400 in it. And I am pleased so I know you have got to be. Are you going to carry it or let it take up safe space? Was going to carry mine until I picked up a 65 3". Got a lot more than 400 in it as well. Myself, I love rottweilers.
Regards

1943...does yours have a smooth or serrated trigger?

Mine has a smooth. I'm just wondering if it left the factory thataway.

Talking 13-3 trigger

Glock' em Down

The trigger is smooth, and I like it a lot better than the serrated ones.
All of the 1982 and later guns that I own have smooth triggers,

Terry
