Ok, so I picked up a minty M&P 45 today but it has a (Peoples Republic of) Massachusetts compliant trigger pull. i.e 10# minimum. To add insult to injury, the trigger actually breaks @ 12.1# per my scale. I'm pretty competent with trigger jobs on revolvers but this M&P is new to me. I'd be happy if I could get the trigger down to the 6.5# that the other M&P's are reported to have.
So, will the spring set from a 9mm/.40 M&P fit and function in the 45 version? Are there any drop in aftermarket or home fixes I can try before spending $ on a smith to resolve?
