So I'm still cleaning up my security guard trade-in Model 64 from J&G Sales. The outside looks awesome, after a little polishing, and the innards are pretty good after being degreased and lighly coated with Breakfree CLP.
The only problem left is the rust on the hammer and trigger. It isn't anywhere that can be seen, on the hammer it is inside where the firing pin rotates. On the trigger, it is inside of the rectangular recesses in the back of the trigger. Both spots can only be seen with a flashlight.
I have the rusty areas coated with Breakfree CLP, and I can't reach it with anything to work the rust off. Is this something I should worry about or should I just leave it alone? The gun shoots fine...
