Hooded sight

Is there any easy way to install a hooded front sight on a Model-14 K frame? My eyes just can't see the front sight when shooting 50yards silhouette targets on sunny days. When I move under some shade, I can see the front sight clearly. I figure a hooded front sight would solve my problem. Thanks.
