Ace trigger shoe Allen key size ?

I recently purchased a Smith J frame with an aftermarket "Ace" trigger shoe that I am trying to remove but dont know the size.


Does anyone know for sure if its English or Metric and what size ?

Those tiny allen wrench nuts strip sooo easy .

My only experience with an Ace trigger shoe goes back thirty years. I bought one and put it on a 1911, decided that I didn't like it and took it off the next day. I'm sure that it used an English allen wrench but I don't recall the size other than being small.

I have one on a release trigger trap gun I have and I think that its a 1/16" or there abouts but it is std U.S. Jeff
