Default How difficult to have medallions installed in stocks

I've seen some aftermarket stocks with the SW medallions, so I guess it's not a trademark infringement? I'm checking out some nice rosewood and some ebony ones for a couple of my K frames, but they don't have medallions. Does anyone know how expensive it would be to get a set installed on a pair of stocks, and who I'd talk to about getting it done?

I've also wondered if they're easily removed when stripping or refinishing the stocks.

Thanks, Josh P

Technically you need a drill press but if you're handy with a drill, buy a 13/32" Forstner bit and do-it-yourself. The medallions are available on EBay. A Forstner drills flat bottomed holes. Practice on scrap until you get the depth right then have a go.
Dab in a little epoxy and Bob's Your Uncle.

Yep...just like bluejax 101 said. Its not difficult to do, even in the harder than wood stuff. Here's some I've installed in Sambar Stag.
